Reception on behalf of welcoming the 21st Generation of Scholarship Holders of the Internship Programme of German Business | Berlin

We cordially invited our members to our reception to welcome our 21st generation of scholarship holders of our Internship Programme of German Business.


 The event will take place 
on June 27th 2024 
6 pm 
at the illustrious Prachtwerk 
located at Ganghofer Str. 2, 12043 Berlin 

Our keynote speakers will be Dr. Thomas Narbeshuber, Vice President BASF Group,  BASF Central & South East Europe and spokesperson of the working group South Eastern Europe, German Eastern Business Association,  Milos Vlahovic, Member of the Board, Zoran Djindjic Foundation and Mrs. Heike Backofen-Warnecke, Head of Division for South-Eastern and Eastern Europe; South  Caucasus, Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). 
In 2003, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the German Eastern Business Association initiated the Internship Programme of German Business after the assassination of the first democratically elected Prime Minister of Serbia, Dr. Zoran Djindjic. For the past 21 years, this Programme has supported more than 1.000 young professionals from the Countries of the Western Balkans and Croatia to gain practical trainings in more than 260 companies in Germany. The majority of them work in their home countries and contribute to the political-economic and social prosperity of an entire region.
